Dani is from a nick superhero show, so the abuse is couched in superhero tropes that is easily glossed over in canon, but is Actually Horrifying. Dani is a clone made by the villain who wanted the hero for his son, and Dani was not good enough. She was manipulated as a tool, was never loved, had a superhero fight with her father, did have her father figure actually torture her to death (she got better). She was also a hair's breadth away from melting for most of her life, leaving her in a bad state. After she realized she was being used by her father, she ran off and lived on the streets. Also she's half ghost and sometimes Body Horror Just Happens.

Canon Abilities And Pings

Half Ghost: Dani can change between a human form and a ghost form. Her human form offers protections from things that hurt ghosts, and her ghost form offers resistances that humans usually can't manage. Now while Dani can interact with anti-ghost measures as a human, they can have some mild affects. Think mild allergic reactions type thing. Also, her ghostliness CAN be detected while she's a human, but its a very faint detection.

Fashion

She keeps her wrists and ankle covered. She generally chooses comfortable clothes, though she doesn't mind fitted clothes. What's important is she can easily move in them. Generally doesn't go for girly girl clothes.

Demeanor & Attitude

Please understand this girl defaults to lying like breathing. Dani isn't malicious, but one of the few skills she was taught was to LIE LIE AND LIE SOME MORE. She will put on a smile and act like things are fine to people's faces and for her age and life experience, she's a pretty damn good liar. Anyone whose good at seeing through that sort of thing will clock her, but most people won't. She's very good at committing to the bit and keeping track of her own lies. Her skills were taught for malice, but now she uses it to keep herself safe, and even more so, to make it so people won't worry about her. She's a friendly girl, she wants to make friends, and she will just hide all the fear and loneliness and pain she's feeling as best she can.
